Harm Schoten is an experienced environmental leader currently serving as the Director of Eurosite - the European Land Conservation Network since January 2021. Prior to this role, Harm held the position of Board Chair at A Rocha Netherlands from December 2017 to September 2023 and led the Nature Unit at Vogelbescherming Nederland from June 2007 to March 2019, where also acted as Coordinator for Natura 2000 initiatives. Earlier in the career, Harm worked as an Environmental Engineer at Witteveen+Bos from 2002 to 2007 and as a Safety Engineer at TNO between 1997 and 2001. Harm holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
