Franziska Weidl has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Franziska started their career in 2008 as a Purchasing Assistant at Koch de Portugal-Serviços de Engenharia e Comercialização Industrial, Lda. Franziska then worked as a Personalreferent at SaarLB from November 2012 to March 2015.
From March 2015 to August 2016, Franziska worked at GetYourGuide as an HR Specialist, where they supported new office openings globally, implemented an onboarding process, and provided support throughout the employee lifecycle. Franziska was later promoted to Head of HR, where they served as a sparring partner for senior management, built an international HR team, and developed career paths and development opportunities.
Since March 2019, Franziska has been working at Eurowings Digital. Franziska initially served as the Head of People, where they led the HR function. Currently, they hold the position of Unit Lead Operations & People, responsible for overseeing operations and managing people.
Throughout their career, Franziska has gained expertise in various HR functions, including performance management, HR reporting, and the implementation of HR guidelines and policies.
Franziska Weidl's education history includes completing an Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Digital Transformation Management from Goethe Business School at Goethe University Frankfurt, which they pursued from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Business Administration from Hochschule Fulda between 2009 and 2012. In 2011, they participated in a study abroad program at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Additionally, they completed an apprenticeship at SLS Services GmbH from 2006 to 2008.
