Ram Ambatipudi

Ram Ambatipudi has worked in various roles in the energy and utilities sector since 1995. Ram started their career as an Account Executive at the Southern California Gas Company in 1995. Ram then moved to Enron Energy Services in 1997 as an Associate. In 1998, they became the Business Development Manager at CellNet Data Systems. In 1999, they were the Vice President of Business Development at MyHomeKey. From 2003 to 2005, they were the General Manager of SolSource Energy, which was later acquired by SolarCity. From 2005 to 2008, they were the Director of Large Scale Renewables at Chevron. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Co-Founder, Consultant, and Investor at EV Connect, as well as the Senior Vice President of Energy & Utilities and Vice President of Business Development. From 2012 to 2013, they were the President of Kala Energy, LLC. Finally, from 2013 to present, they have been the Senior Vice President of Business Development at LightBeam Electric Company, LLC.

Ram Ambatipudi completed their MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management between 1994 and 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. in Economics/International Area Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1987 and 1991.
