Brandi Efiom, MPA

Community Impact and Strategy, Director at Evanston Cradle to Career

Brandi Efiom, MPA has a diverse range of work experience spanning various organizations and roles. In 2012, they began their career as a Youth Outreach Services Intern at the City of Evanston. Brandi then served as a Servant Leader Intern at the Children's Defense Fund from 2016 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, Brandi worked as an After School Program Manager at Youth & Opportunity United. In 2020, they worked as an Academic Consultant at Syracuse University.

Brandi's experience continued to expand in 2021, when they took on the role of Director of Media Relations at EPNA and also worked as a Consultant for Program Development at High Jump. Additionally, they served as a Community Engagement Manager at the United Way of Metro Chicago, where they were responsible for strategic planning and implementation of community engagement initiatives until 2023.

In 2019, Brandi became involved with Mudlark Theater, initially serving as the Co-Chair of the Equity and Inclusion & Community Engagement Committee, and later becoming a Board Member. Currently, they hold the position of Community Impact and Strategy Director at Evanston Cradle to Career, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Brandi has demonstrated a commitment to community engagement, program development, and strategic planning. Their experience in various organizations has equipped their with a well-rounded skill set and a strong understanding of community needs.

Brandi Efiom, MPA began their education at Evanston Township High School and graduated in 2014. Brandi then attended Western Illinois University from 2014 to 2018, where they studied Political Science and Economics. In 2020, Brandi enrolled in Syracuse University's Maxwell School and completed their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in 2021.
