Kimberly Powless-Griffin, PHR, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Human Resources - Benefits at the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, a position held since October 2022. Kimberly's extensive experience in human resources includes roles as a Senior Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Generalist focused on insurance, benefits, and retirement. Prior to this, Kimberly was a Human Resources Coordinator specializing in FMLA, leaves of absence, and benefits administration at Professional Transportation, Inc. Kimberly's tenure at the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation also includes significant work as a Human Resources Generalist in leaves and workers' compensation from 2015 to 2022. Earlier in Kimberly's career, experience was gained as a Human Resource Specialist, Billing Specialist, and Medical Receptionist/Patient Advocate at Echo Community Health Care. Kimberly holds a B.S. in Business with a focus on Human Resource Management from Western Governors University and has additional education from Western Kentucky University.
