Pierre TARIF has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Pierre started their career in 1988 as a Software Engineer at Metavision, working on projects related to geophysical software for the oil industry. Pierre then joined SAFEGE - CONSULTING as a Software Engineer, where they focused on developing geographical applications for network managers and municipalities. In 1990, they worked as a Sales Representative at IBM, selling CAD-CAM software tools to the mechanical engineering industry.

Following that, Pierre TARIF joined Altran as a Software Developer for a brief period before transitioning to 1Spatial FR, where they took on the roles of Sales Manager and Marketing Manager. In this position, they managed a sales team and established partnerships to drive growth in sales.

In 1992, they moved to Lyonnaise des Eaux and held various roles, including Responsable infogérance des Systèmes d'Information and Project Manager. Pierre oversaw the management of IT infrastructures and was responsible for defining service contracts. Pierre also led the MAGES project, which involved coordinating efforts from multiple specialists and partners.

In 2009, Pierre joined GDF SUEZ as a Group Information Systems Policies Manager and later became a Program Head, overseeing the convergence of IT infrastructures and the merger of French and Belgian teams. Pierre then joined STORENGY in 2012 as the Chief Information Officer, where they focused on realigning the Information System to meet the company's strategic objectives.

From 2015 to 2021, Pierre TARIF worked at ENGIE, holding several roles including Corporate Risk Officer and CIO BU Africa. Pierre facilitated enterprise risk management and was responsible for the Information Systems practice within the Audit Department.

Most recently, they joined EVBox in 2021 as the Chief Information Officer, where they are currently overseeing the company's information systems operations.

Pierre TARIF began their education in 1980 at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, where they pursued a degree in Ingénieur Civil des Mines with a focus on Ingénierie. Pierre completed their studies at this institution in 1983.

In 1982, Pierre also attended the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie for a year, obtaining a DEA degree in Géologie / sciences de la Terre, général.

Continuing their academic journey, Pierre joined the Pierre and Marie Curie University from 1983 to 1986, where they earned a Doctorat degree in Physique des roches (géophysique).

Later in their career, Pierre pursued further professional development by attending HEC Paris in 2003 and 2004. Here, they obtained an Executive MBA degree, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General.

In addition to their formal education, Pierre has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they received the ARM - Associate in Risk Management certification from AMRAE - Association pour le Management des Risques et des Assurances de l'Entreprise. In 2016, they completed the course "Créer et développer une startup technologique" and received a certification from Coursera Course Certificates. Recently, in August 2021, Pierre obtained the "Business Change Maker" certification from ENGIE.
