Urban ATM Global Business Development Lead at Eve Air Mobility

Rob Weaver has extensive experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on urban air mobility and advanced air mobility solutions. Rob currently works at Eve Air Mobility as the UATM Business Development Global Lead, responsible for leading the business development and facilitating the implementation of urban air traffic management solutions globally. Prior to this role, they served as the Regulation & Public Policy Global Lead at Eve Air Mobility. Before joining Eve Air Mobility, Rob worked as an Aviation & Safety Advisor at EmbraerX, where they were involved in the development of the UAM ecosystem, regulation, public policy, and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to their time at EmbraerX, Rob worked at Airservices Australia, where they held various leadership roles, including Executive General Manager and Senior Manager. In these roles, they played a key role in establishing and maintaining the organization's corporate strategy and led portfolios in business improvement and environmental management.

Before their tenure at Airservices Australia, Rob worked at NATS as a Safety Manager, Head of the Software Assurance Group, and Safety Engineer. Rob also has academic experience, having worked as a Lecturer/Teaching Fellow and Research Associate at the University of York.

Throughout their career, Rob has provided consultancy and advisory services globally, specializing in aviation strategy, risk and safety management, complex systems, training development, and safety and regulatory compliance. Rob has worked with clients in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Rob Weaver earned their Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of York between 1999 and 2003. Prior to that, they obtained an MEng in Computer Systems & Software Engineering from the same university from 1995 to 1999. In 2012, they attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors to complete the Company Directors Course, with no specified end year.
