Jacob Pade Ramsøe Jacobsen

Jacob Pade Ramsøe Jacobsen currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Evecxia Therapeutics, Inc., a position held since June 2023, after previously functioning as the Chief Scientific Officer from January 2016. Jacobsen has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical field, including as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-National University of Singapore, where research focused on pharmacodynamics parameters for a novel antidepressant compound. Previous roles include a Scientist at Duke University Medical Center, where work involved translating research into FDA-approved drugs, and postdoctoral positions at NeuroSearch and the University of Washington, concentrating on CNS pharmacology and drug-abuse interactions. Jacobsen began research pursuits at H. Lundbeck A/S, where foundational experience in neurochemistry was established while completing a PhD in Neuropharmacology at Københavns Universitet. Jacobsen holds a Master's degree in Human Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the same institution.
