Sohaib Rafique, PhD has a strong educational background in energy management systems. Sohaib began their academic journey by completing their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology from 2003 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Energy Management at the same institution from 2010 to 2013.

To further their expertise, Sohaib Rafique then pursued a MRes (Masters of Research) degree at Macquarie University from 2016 to 2017, specializing in the impact of electric vehicles on the power grid. Sohaib continued their studies at Macquarie University and successfully obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Energy Management Systems from 2017 to 2021.
