Matthew Tyler

Matthew Tyler has extensive experience working in software engineering and mobile app development. Matthew most recently worked at Eventbrite as a Senior Mobile Engineer, starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at GE Digital from February 2017 to June 2020.

Before their time at GE Digital, Matthew worked as a Freelance Mobile App Developer from May 2015 to February 2017. Matthew also gained experience in Android and iOS development as a Software Engineer at Radius Networks Inc. from April 2014 to May 2015.

Matthew's earlier work experience includes roles as a Mobile App Developer at 4DK Technologies Inc. from May 2012 to April 2014, and as a Mobile App Developer at Web 2 Mobile Design from November 2010 to June 2012.

Additionally, Matthew has experience outside of the software development field. Matthew worked as a Crew Leader Assistant at the US Census Bureau in 2010, where they trained and supervised a team of Enumerators and developed fieldwork methods. Matthew also served as a Mathematics Professor/Course Developer at Estrella del Sur in 2009, where they developed instructional design and facilitated instruction for 40 students. In 2008, Matthew worked as a Production Assistant at Nailed Productions.

Matthew Tyler attended the University of South Carolina, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Matthew'stenure at the university concluded in 2005. Later, in 2011, Matthew Tyler enrolled at Santa Monica College, during which they focused on Game and Interactive Media Design. Unfortunately, the duration of their studies at Santa Monica College lasted only until 2012.
