Miguel Romero has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Miguel started their career as a freelance frontend developer in 2009 and later worked at Nicemondays as a full stack developer from 2009 to 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they were a frontend engineer at BeBanjo, where they focused on developing interfaces for their products. In 2015, Miguel worked as a frontend developer at Socialbro and then became a lead frontend engineer at Be Mate, where they led the frontend team and prioritized app performance. Miguel joined CARTO in 2016 as a frontend engineer, contributing to UI development and participating in technical decision-making. Miguel then worked as a tech lead at 7r Ventures from 2018 to 2020, where they developed alpha products and validated their market fit.
