Miguel Romero

Miguel Romero has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Miguel started their career as a freelance frontend developer in 2009 and later worked at Nicemondays as a full stack developer from 2009 to 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they were a frontend engineer at BeBanjo, where they focused on developing interfaces for their products. In 2015, Miguel worked as a frontend developer at Socialbro and then became a lead frontend engineer at Be Mate, where they led the frontend team and prioritized app performance. Miguel joined CARTO in 2016 as a frontend engineer, contributing to UI development and participating in technical decision-making. Miguel then worked as a tech lead at 7r Ventures from 2018 to 2020, where they developed alpha products and validated their market fit. From 2020 to 2022, Miguel was a senior frontend engineer at Jobandtalent, responsible for building replicable and scalable frontend architectures. Currently, they are working as a software engineer at Eventbrite, starting in 2023. Miguel has a well-rounded skill set, with experience in backend and frontend development, testing, documentation, and leading engineering practices.

Miguel Romero has a diverse education history. In 1998, they started attending Universidad de Málaga, where they pursued a degree in Telecommunications. Miguel successfully completed the program in 2003 and obtained an Engineer degree in the field. In 2005, Miguel briefly attended Macromedia, where they acquired certification as a Flash Developer, demonstrating their expertise in this area.
