Sebastian Boppert

Sebastian Boppert has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Sebastian started their career as a Media Analyst at Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung Institute in 2003 and worked there until 2004. Sebastian then joined Klenk & Hoursch as a PR Consultant from 2004 to 2006. After that, Sebastian worked as a Press Officer at Passivhaus Dienstleistung GmbH from 2006 to 2008. Sebastian then joined Hopscotch Europe In One as a PR Senior Account Manager from 2008 to 2013. Sebastian's most recent and current role is with Eventbrite, where they started as a Communications Germany & Ireland external consultant from 2013 to 2014. Sebastian then served as the Senior PR Manager for Ireland and Germany from 2014 to 2015. Sebastian was later promoted to the position of Senior PR Manager for Europe, and they held this role from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2022, they served as the Head of European Communications. Currently, they hold the position of Director of International Communications at Eventbrite starting in October 2022.

Sebastian Boppert has a strong educational background in various fields. Sebastian began their educational journey at Willigis Gymnasium Mainz from 1988 to 1997, where they completed their Abitur degree in History, German, English, and Chemistry. Following this, they pursued a Magister degree at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 1997 to 2003. During this time, Sebastian studied Mass Media Studies, Law, and English Studies. Seeking further expertise in Journalism, they enrolled in Edinburgh Napier University from 1999 to 2000, where they completed their MA degree in Journalism.
