Sophie Rapoport

Sophie Rapoport's work experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Eventbrite since October 2015. Sophie spent three months as a Recurser at Recurse Center in 2015, where they built various projects and gained knowledge in networking, event-driven Python, and systems design and testing. Sophie worked as a Web Developer for Jewish Public Media from August 2014 to July 2015, where they built and maintained their website and provided guidance on design and integration with social media. Sophie also served as a Ritual Coordinator at West End Synagogue from June 2012 to May 2015, where they managed volunteer leaders, taught and tutored students, and worked on their critical thinking skills and understanding of Judaism. Sophie was a Jewish Studies Faculty member at Heschel High School from September 2009 to June 2012. Sophie's earliest documented work experience was as an Undergraduate Researcher at MIT New Media Literacy group in 2006.

Sophie Rapoport pursued their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, attending the institution from 2003 to 2007. Sophie further continued their studies at Hebrew College from 2007 to 2009, earning a Master of Arts degree in Jewish Education.
