Prior to Gotion Inc., Wubing Ye worked at Honda R&D Americas, LLC as a Transmission Design Engineer from July 2012 to June 2015. They were responsible for researching, designing, and implementing transmission cooling systems and participated in design reviews, created 3D data and drawings, and tested parts.
Earlier in their career, Wubing Ye worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in 2011. They mathematically modeled the behavior of a microfluidic autoregulatory channel with a push-up valve and contributed to a paper submitted to the Lab on a Chip scientific literature journal.
Furthermore, in 2010, Wubing Ye interned at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they demonstrated the effectiveness of a Python implementation of the activity diagram notation for execution and code generation. They developed a prototype Python code design and integrated it with Jython animation code in the MagicDraw tool.
Their earliest work experience was as a Student Worker at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center in 2009.
Wubing Ye completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech from 2008 to 2012.
