Steven Strutt

Steven Strutt is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biochemistry and molecular biology. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist at Evercrisp Biosciences since November 2022, Steven previously held various scientific roles at Global Blood Therapeutics from April 2019 to May 2022, including Senior Scientist and Protein Biochemistry positions. At Spotlight Therapeutics, Steven worked as a Scientist from May 2018 to April 2019. Steven's research background includes significant work at the University of California, Berkeley, where, as a Graduate Student Researcher, investigations focused on proteins related to genome defense in the Jennifer Doudna Lab, alongside teaching roles in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
