João Porto

João Porto has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. João is currently the Head of Commercial at Everest Asset Management since February 2023. João is also the Founder and General Partner of Sollo, a company that focuses on investing in Brazilian start-ups. João previously founded and served as the CEO of TrackerUp, a team monitoring system. Before that, they were the Founder and CEO of Pull Up Tecnologia Ltda, a software development company, and served as an Associate Director at BTG Pactual. João has also held positions as a Board Member at LIDE Futuro and an Investment Advisor at Royal Bank of Canada. In addition, they worked as a Consultant at Suzano Papel e Celulose and served as the CEO of PC Service Informática Ltda, where they successfully restructured and increased profits for the company. João has also contributed to ABRAT as the Director of Social Responsibility.

João Porto, CFP®, has a diverse education background. In 2005, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, specializing in Business Administration. João later pursued a Master's degree in Marketing from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, completing it in 2012. In 2017, João attended the Executive Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, focusing on Venture Capital. Furthermore, they have additional certifications including the CFP® from IBCPF - Instituto Brasileiro de Certificação de Profissionais Financeiros and the ANBIMA - CPA-20 Certification from the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association. Lastly, João is anticipated to obtain the CFP® Certification from Planejar in January 2023.
