Alyssa K.

Alyssa K. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alyssa most recently worked at EVERFI, starting in 2018. Within EVERFI, they held multiple positions, including Principal Product Designer since June 2023 and Senior UX & Product Designer from August 2021 to June 2023. In these roles, Alyssa was responsible for solving complex problems and identifying opportunities for improvement on multiple ed tech platforms. Alyssa also conducted user research, created design artifacts, and collaborated with cross-functional teams.

Prior to EVERFI, Alyssa worked as a UX & Product Designer at Viewpoint Construction Software from September 2016 to August 2018. Alyssa also served as a UX Consultant for Feeding Your Kids Foundation from March 2016 to August 2016.

Earlier in their career, Alyssa held positions such as Assistant Producer at The Commonwealth Club of California from July 2013 to December 2015, Assistant Producer/Assistant Director/Assistant Editor at RocketSpots.tv from February 2013 to June 2013, and Video Production Intern at Jenesis Media from February 2013 to May 2013.

Alyssa's work experience also includes roles such as Lead Supervisor at Chico State Wildcat Store from May 2010 to May 2013, Sound Editor and Designer at MEDIARS in July 2012, Pre-Production Intern at Interstellar Media Productions from February 2011 to March 2011, and Senior Portrait Photographer at Prestige Portraits from May 2010 to October 2010.

Alyssa K. pursued their education from 2008 to 2013 at California State University, Chico. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Design. In 2017, they further enhanced their skills by completing a certification program titled "Innovation through Human-Centered Design" at LUMA Institute.
