Erica Hart has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Erica began their career in 2005 as a Summer School Teacher's Aide at the Blue Springs School District Special Services Center. In 2007, they worked as an Assistant Pool Director at Great American Gymnastics Express. From 2008 to 2008, they were a Business Education Student Teacher at Truman High School and Grain Valley High School.
In 2009, Erica joined the Blue Springs School District as a Substitute Teacher and also worked as a Computer Lab Instructor at Grain Valley Schools. In 2010, they transitioned to Midland Loan Services where they served as a Loan Servicing Analyst II, handling accounting functions and interacting with internal and external clients.
Starting in 2011, Erica worked as a Technology for Life Teacher at North Kansas City Schools. In 2012, they joined the Independence School District as a Business/Entrepreneurship Teacher. Erica stayed with the district until 2017, during which time they held various roles at EVERFI.
At EVERFI, Erica began as a K12 Implementation Specialist in 2017 before becoming a K12 Implementation Lead in 2019. Erica then took on the role of UrbanPlan Instructor and Director of K12 Implementation in 2021. Currently, Erica is working at EVERFI as an Online Events Lead since July 2023.
Throughout their career, Erica has demonstrated a strong passion for education and technology, and has gained extensive experience in instructional roles and leadership positions.
Erica Hart completed their education in a chronological order. Erica obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Central Missouri from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Education from Missouri State University between 2004 and 2008. Erica's high school education was completed at Blue Springs High School, where they obtained a diploma in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates from 2001 to 2004. In terms of additional certifications, Erica recently completed the course "Embracing Unexpected Change" offered by LinkedIn in March 2023.
