Jonathan Filzen

Jonathan Filzen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Jonathan started their career in 2010 as a Personal Care Assistant at both Community Involvement Programs and Choices For Children. In 2013, they joined Teach For America as a Corps Member and also worked as an 8th Grade Reading Teacher at Venture Academy. In 2015, Jonathan transitioned to BestPrep, where they initially served as an Education Outreach Specialist and later became a Program Manager for the Minnesota Business Venture and Outreach program. Since 2019, Jonathan has been working at EVERFI, first as an Implementation Specialist and currently as the Director of K12 District Partnerships.

Jonathan Filzen attended the University of Minnesota from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies. Jonathan'sfield of study focused on Communication and Media Studies.
