Karen Colgan

Karen Colgan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Karen is currently working at EVERFI as a Lead, K-12 Success since July 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of K12 Implementation Specialist at EVERFI from September 2021 to June 2023. Before joining EVERFI, Karen worked for Lamoille South Unified Union as an Educator and Mentor from August 2013 to June 2021. Karen also founded and worked as an Educator at the Arts In Action Community Charter Schools from August 2011 to August 2013. Karen gained experience as an Operations Manager at The Enneagram in Business from July 2010 to August 2011. Additionally, they worked as an Educator at the San Diego Unified School District from August 2005 to June 2010. Karen's earlier work experience includes serving as a Quality Management Specialist at AMN Healthcare from July 2002 to August 2005.

Karen Colgan obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication, General from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Afterward, from 2004 to 2005, they attended National University and earned a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in Elementary Education and Teaching. In addition to their formal education, Karen has also received several certifications, including Customer Service Foundations from LinkedIn in July 2023, Salesforce Essential Training from LinkedIn in August 2021, and Instructional Design: Adult Learners from LinkedIn in June 2021.
