Katie McMeans M.ed.

Katie McMeans, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience in the education field. Katie is currently working at EVERFI as a Customer Success Specialist, where they began their role in November 2021 as an Implementation Specialist and later transitioned into their current position. Prior to joining EVERFI, Katie worked at Legacy Prep as the Dean of Teaching and Learning from August 2020 to November 2021. Before that, they served as a 2nd Grade Lead Teacher at Legacy Prep from August 2019 to May 2020. Katie's earlier experience includes working as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Birmingham City Schools from August 2015 to May 2019, and as an Elementary School Teacher at Huntsville City Schools from August 2013 to May 2015. Their experiences demonstrate their expertise and dedication to the field of education.

Katie McMeans, M.Ed. obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Auburn University. Katie then pursued a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. Recently, they completed a Post-Master's Certificate in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
