Lisa Nelson

Lisa Nelson has been working in the healthcare industry for over 16 years. Lisa is currently a Principal Consultant at Evergreen Healthcare Partners, a position they started in September 2021. Before that, Lisa worked at Ascension for 14 years, holding various roles such as Process and Technology Manager, Certified Epic Ambulatory Specialist, Clinical Informatics Epic Ambulatory Analyst, and Health Information Analyst. Lisa joined Ascension in November 2007 and left in October 2021. Prior to Ascension, Lisa worked as a Health Information Clerk at Aurora Health Care from August 2005 to November 2007.

Lisa Nelson attended Gateway Technical College from 2006 to 2012, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician. In terms of additional certifications, Lisa obtained the EpicCare Ambulatory Certified in December 2012 and the EpicCare Ambulatory Specialty Setup Certified in May 2014. Lisa also holds certifications in Bridges, Cogito, Cogito Tools Adminstrator, and Data Courier, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
