EverGreene Architectural Arts is the leading specialty contractor and conservation firm in the United States providing interior restoration, conservation, decoration, and new design services to clients in the Commercial, Government, Institutional, Sacred and Theater sectors. Function & Scope: The Business Development Coordinator position provides sales and administrative support to the business development team including, assisting with organizational and technical support, client development & retention and securing and increasing the volume of sales. The position provides an opportunity to be mentored and develop critical marketing skills to prepare for a career in sales and is ideal for an individual seeking a long term career as a business developer in the design & construction industry.

Responsibilities: The role may include but is not limited to:

  • Providing administrative support for business development activities including bids and proposals
  • Update internal employee resumes required for proposals as needed
  • Prepare and maintain lead files
  • Log and track opportunities/lifecycle of leads in EverGreene's CRM (Cosential)
  • Research potential clients and projects
  • Follow-up with prospects following conferences, events and industry meetings
  • Liaise with Marketing to prepare materials and presentations for prospective and existing client meetings
  • Organize project information to facilitate clear and concise proposals, estimating, breaking out prices & job set ups
  • Assist in producing estimating documents, RFI's, RFQ's and Pre-Quals
  • Assist Business Developers with procuring estimates and sub pricing (i.e. scaffolding quotes)
  • Assist in creating & maintain design books
  • Assist in planning and running EverGreene sponsored industry event

Requirements & Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or similar discipline preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and consistent follow-through are required
  • Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented - must be proactive
  • Excellent writing and business communications skills
  • Comfortable talking to potential clients over the phone and in person
  • Able to meet, manage, prioritize and balance competing deadlines
  • Able to work both collaboratively and independently, as necessary
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is necessary
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.) is preferred
  • Interest and strong appreciation for art, architecture, design, construction, historic preservation, ecclesiastical tradition is a plus
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken)

Work Environment/Job Conditions:  This job is performed in an office setting and requires frequent sitting (working on a computer), frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching. Due to computer usage, there is a repetitive motion of the hands and wrists.   Occasional work from home can be accommodated.
