Andrew Kapp

Andrew Kapp is an experienced data science and enterprise architecture professional currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Evergy since August 2018. In this role, Andrew leads the data science program, focusing on technology stack implementation and project prioritization. Previously, Andrew held the position of Lead Enterprise Architect at Evergy, advancing the organization's capabilities in various domains, including data science maturity and real-time system architecture. Andrew's extensive background includes roles such as EDW, BI and EA Manager at Westar Energy, Information Architect positions at both Federal Home Loan Bank Topeka and the State of Kansas, and additional experience in business intelligence and data warehousing at the Kansas Department of Revenue. Andrew Kapp is actively pursuing a Master's in Analytics and Data Science at Kansas State University, complementing a robust academic foundation that includes degrees in Management and Finance.
