Jason Klindt

Jason Klindt currently serves as a School Board Member for the KEARNEY R-1 BOARD OF EDUCATION, where the Board governs the community’s public schools. Since March 2019, Jason has held the position of Senior Director of External Affairs at Evergy, focusing on strategic partnerships and relationship-building with stakeholders and policymakers in Missouri and Kansas. Jason also oversees legislative interests at various levels and serves as a Regent for Northwest Missouri State University. Additionally, Jason is a Board Member of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry, contributing to advocacy efforts for Missouri employers. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Customer Intelligence at KCP&L, Managing Director at Candidate Command, and Vice President at Axiom Strategies. Jason has extensive experience in government affairs, communication, and campaign management, including serving as Communications Director for a member of the US Congress. Jason holds an MBA and a B.S. in Public Relations, both from Northwest Missouri State University.
