Valerie Coyazo

Valerie Coyazo is the Lead Business Diversity Manager at Evergy, bringing over 19 years of expertise in Supplier Diversity. Since June 2018, Valerie has provided leadership for the Evergy Supplier Diversity Program. Valerie also serves as the Board Chair for The Greater Kansas City Hispanic Collaborative. Previous roles include Manager of Supplier Diversity at Kansas City Power and Light and various leadership positions within the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Aquila Inc. Valerie started their career at AT&T, where a managerial role in the company spanned from 1977 to 2003. Valerie holds a degree from Park University.
