Cormac Hannan

Cormac Hannan has a diverse work experience background with roles in various industries. Cormac started their career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at the Irish Football Association in 2017, where they provided support to international women's football teams and introduced young girls to strength and conditioning fundamentals. In 2016, they worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Ulster University, where they assisted with fitness testing and strength and conditioning for student athletes and external groups. Cormac then transitioned to the tech industry, working as a Cloud Platform Engineer (DevOps) at Allstate Northern Ireland from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they are a Cloud Engineer at EverQuote, starting in 2021.

Cormac Hannan started their education at St Marys CBS from 2006 to 2014. Cormac then attended Ulster University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Sports and Exercise. In 2018, they enrolled in Queen's University Belfast and completed an Msc degree in Software development in 2019. Additionally, Cormac has obtained several certifications, including CKS: Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist and CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in 2022, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021.
