Shawn Michael Capizzi has a strong background in user experience design. Shawn Michael'smost recent role was as the Director of Experience Design at Intouch Solutions, where they established design and accessibility standards, led product vision and UX frameworks for various digital touchpoints, and presented complex design solutions to stakeholders. Before that, they worked as a Director of UX for four subsidiaries of Omnicom Health Group, providing user experience design, research, strategy, and advocacy. Shawn Michael also held roles at Digitas Health LifeBrands, iRGONOMIC, Bloomberg LP, Greater Than One, Draftfcb, Harrison and Star, Publicis Groupe, and Grey Healthcare Group, where they focused on mobile-first design, interactive sales tools, application design, information architecture, and usability testing.

Shawn Michael Capizzi has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communications Design with a dual major in Advertising and Graphic Design from Pratt Institute. Shawn Michael also has a certification in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from Human Factors International and has completed a course in Mobile User Experience from Nielsen Norman Group. Shawn Michael further pursued a dual major in Psychology and Fine Arts at Rider University. In terms of additional certifications, Shawn obtained a certification in Voice Design with Amazon Alexa from Udemy Academy in January 2018, and they completed the Teaching Effectiveness Program at New York University in October 2008.
