Alejandro Soto Morales

Alejandro Soto Morales has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Alejandro started their career as a Técnico de soporte de TI at BAC Broadcast and Comunication S.A. in 2005, where they provided technical support in hardware and software, maintained licensed software, and handled telematics and networks.

In 2006, they joined ROGUS SA as a Técnico de soporte de TI, where they continued to provide technical support in the IT field.

In 2007, Alejandro joined Evertec and held multiple roles throughout their tenure. Alejandro started as an Analista de Certificaciones QA, responsible for software development analysis and quality assurance certifications. Later, they became an Analista de desarrollo de software, contributing to software development projects. Subsequently, they advanced to the position of Analista superior de software, where they were in charge of developing transactional switch solutions for electronic payments, acting as the technical counterpart for Visa and Mastercard. Lastly, they served as a Software Development Team Lead, where they managed personnel, led software development teams, and provided technical support to Visa and Mastercard for electronic payment methods.

Alejandro Soto Morales has a Bachelor's degree in Project Management from the Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica, which they obtained between 2018 and 2023. Alejandro also completed an intermediate English course at the Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje (INA) from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, Alejandro completed a basic English course at Intensa - Language Institute in 2019. In 2013 to 2014, Alejandro pursued a Cisco CCNA certification at the Universidad Nacional. Alejandro holds a high school diploma in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Hispanoamericana (CR).

In addition to their formal education, Alejandro has obtained several certifications related to project management, agile methodologies, software architecture, and programming languages. These certifications include Scrum Master, Fundamentals of ITIL, and advanced and essential courses in C++ among others.
