Pearce Merritt

Pearce Merritt has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Personal Trainer for Disabled Students at Santa Rosa Junior College. In 2011, they became a Tutor and Grader for a beginning Java class at UC Santa Cruz. In 2012, they worked as a Small Office IT / Software Implementation at Treemasters and as a Software Engineer at mFoundry. In 2015, they held two positions simultaneously: Software Engineer at Opower and Assistant Instructor / Tutor at Hackbright Academy. In 2018, they took a Personal Sabbatical. In 2019, they were a Data Engineer at Pinterest. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at EveryDay Labs.

Pearce Merritt attended Santa Rosa High School before enrolling at Santa Rosa Junior College in 2007. Pearce then attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2012, where they earned two B.A.s in Computer Science and Psychology, as well as a Minor in Electronic Music.
