Jez Tapping

Jez Tapping has a diverse range of experience in the indoor climbing industry. Jez is currently working as an Indoor Climbing Industry Consultant, providing consultation to various organizations on business planning, team composition, financial analysis, governance, and change management. Prior to this, Jez served as the Head of Climbing and Regional Climbing Manager at Everyone Active - SLM, where they were responsible for developing business strategies, fostering a sales ethos, and overseeing climbing facilities and teams across multiple locations. Jez also worked as a Department Manager at Decathlon International, managing a team of Sports Advisors, and as a Centre Manager at The Climbing Hangar and Dacorum Sport Trust, where they played key roles in operational openings and managing staff teams. Additionally, Jez has experience as a Duty Manager at Spider Climbing Group and as a Civilian Instructor at the Royal Air Force Air Cadets. Jez has a wide range of skills and qualifications acquired throughout their career.

Jez Tapping has a diverse education history. Jez first attended Glyn Technology School from 1997 to 2004. However, no degree or field of study is specified for this time period.

Next, they pursued a Foundation degree in Sports Development and Coaching at NESCOT from 2004 to 2006.

Following this, they attended the University of Winchester from 2006 to 2007 where they earned a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Sports Studies.

After a few years, they enrolled at London Metropolitan University from 2010 to 2012 where they obtained a Master's degree (M.A.) in Sports Management.

Lastly, in 2014, they completed a Level 3 course in Education and Training at NESCOT.
