Polly Hickling

Polly Hickling has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Polly currently holds the position of Learning and Development Lead for Media at Eviden since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Education at Women in Streaming Media since July 2021. Polly also took on the role of Secretary/Treasurer at SMPTE United Kingdom Section from July 2023. Previously, Polly worked at Atos as a Learning and Development Lead for Media from September 2022 to May 2023. Polly had an extensive tenure at Southampton Solent University, where they held the position of Course Leader of the Media Technology Programme from June 2012 to September 2022 and was an Associate Lecturer in Media Technology from September 2009 to June 2012. Polly also had a voluntary role as an Area Panel member at Radian, where they assisted in making decisions relevant to Radian residents in the Solent area from September 2011 to July 2013. Polly gained work experience at Icon Films in 2008.

Polly Hickling has a Master of Science - MS degree in Mobile Media Application Development from the University of Portsmouth, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Polly also holds a PGC (Postgraduate Certificate) in Learning and Teaching for Higher Education from Solent University, completed in 2010. Polly's undergraduate degree is a BSc (Hons) in Media Technology from Solent University, which they earned from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they have a Master's Degree in Mobile Media Application Development from the University of Portsmouth, the specific duration of which is unknown.
