Kyle Meppelink has a diverse work experience starting in 2014 as a Computer Lab Assistant at Grand Valley State University. In this role, they were responsible for project publishing, database management, and multimedia collection organization. Kyle then worked as a Refugee Case Worker Intern at Bethany Christian Services, where they accompanied clients to appointments, managed files, and tracked service spending.

Kyle then took on the role of Quality Assurance and Research, expanding services through research and editing customer deliverables. Currently, they are also working as a Technical Support Specialist at Evidencity.
Kyle Meppelink has an extensive education history. From 2020 to 2024, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics at Boğaziçi University. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2017, they attended Grand Valley State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs. In 2015, they had two short-term educational experiences; they studied International Relations and Affairs at Boğaziçi University, and they also studied Arabic Language and Literature at both the Arab-American Language Institute in Morocco and the Consortium for Global Education. Additionally, in 2014, they briefly studied Arabic Language and Literature at Birzeit University.
