Rachel Donnelly

Rachel Donnelly has a strong background in the field of lighting in various entertainment industries. Rachel most recently worked as a Senior Lighting Artist at Evil Eye Pictures since July 2023. Prior to that, they were a Real-time Lighting Supervisor at The Walt Disney Company from October 2021 to June 2023. Rachel also completed a fellowship as a Fellow - Unreal Fellowship Fall '22 at Epic Games from November to December 2022. Other notable experiences include working as a Lighting Artist at Crystal Dynamics from October 2020 to September 2021, and as an Associate Lighting Artist at Infinity Ward from May 2019 to October 2020. Rachel also gathered experience as a Lighting TD at Fable Studio, a Lighting Artist at Baobab Studios, and a Lighting Artist at Steel Wool Studios. Rachel began their career as a Shading and Lighting Intern at Outward, Inc. and also served in the United States Air Force as a Spanish Cryptologic Linguist from August 2006 to December 2012, where they led a quality control team and authored intelligence reports.

Rachel Donnelly's education history begins in 2005 when they attended Hartnell College for one year, studying mathematics. From 2006 to 2011, they attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, focusing on Spanish. In 2012, they briefly attended the Community College of the Air Force, specifically the Airman Leadership School. Rachel's primary education was completed at SAE Expression College from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Animation and Visual Effects.
