Davis Quintanilla

Davis Quintanilla has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology industry. Davis began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Research Foundation of CUNY, where they worked on a project involving Artificial Intelligence and human-computer verbal interaction. Davis'sresponsibilities included creating experimental datasets, processing data for statistical analysis, and creating Python-based interfaces.

After their internship at a CUNY Hunter laboratory, where they worked with computer vision and image processing, Davis joined StarlingHealth as a Software Engineer. There, they contributed to the development of a tablet-based nurse call bell accessory that allowed patients to request specific types of assistance. Davis remained in this role until 2014.

Davis then joined Hill-Rom as an Advanced Engineer, focusing on the integration of the Starling system with existing hardware on beds. Davis optimized the application for lower-powered devices and worked on reducing memory footprint. Davis'stenure at Hill-Rom lasted until 2015.

In 2015, Davis joined Bluestream Health as the Head of Technology. Davis played a pivotal role in the growth of the telehealth virtual care delivery platform, going from a solo engineer to leading a team that successfully deployed the platform across numerous facilities. Davis built a webRTC-based video platform capable of interfacing with web browsers and traditional phone systems. Davis also developed a patented routing engine for routing healthcare calls to the proper resources.

Most recently, Davis has been working at eVisit as an Engineering Director, a position they have held since 2023. In this role, they continue to contribute their expertise to the development and management of the company's engineering initiatives.
