Ville Elomaa

Ville Elomaa has extensive work experience in the field of data integration and Informatica. Ville started their career in 1989 at the State Treasury of Finland, where they worked in various office and IT-related roles until 1994. In 1998, they joined Nokia and worked as a Quality Engineer, developing a data warehouse and data integrations using the SAS system. Ville later transitioned to the role of Senior Application Specialist, focusing on Informatica PowerCenter and working as a data integration developer. In 2006, they were appointed as the Development Manager of the Informatica platform at Nokia, responsible for planning future solutions. Ville joined NSN (Nokia Siemens Networks) in 2007 as a Service Manager for the NSN Informatica platform, ensuring the level and efficiency of the service. Ville moved to Atos in 2013 as a Service Delivery Manager, overseeing the Informatica service before the job was moved to India in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, Ville worked at Affecto Finland as an Informatica consultant, also taking on sales support and instructor roles. Ville then joined CGI in 2017 as a Senior Consultant, specializing in data integration and Informatica. Most recently, in November 2020, Ville started working as a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant at Profit Software Ltd, focusing on data integration and Informatica development.

Ville Elomaa completed their education at the University of Helsinki from 1991 to 1998, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they studied at Lauttasaaren Yhteiskoulu in Helsinki from 1983 to 1989, where they obtained their undergraduate degree, Ylioppilas.
