Liping Laura Sun

Liping Laura Sun has extensive work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Liping Laura currently holds two positions at Evive Biotech, where they serve as the Chief Scientific Officer and the Senior Vice President of Global Research & Development. Prior to joining Evive Biotech, they worked at Harpoon Therapeutics as the Senior Director and Director of Translational Medicine, where they also led the Product Development Team. Before Harpoon Therapeutics, they spent a significant portion of their career at Genentech, working in Research Oncology for over a decade. Liping Laura began their professional journey as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington University School of Medicine.

Liping Laura Sun obtained their Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Washington University in St. Louis between 1998 and 2003. Later, they pursued a Certificate in the Professional Program in Regulatory Affairs from UC Berkeley Extension, which they completed from 2019 to 2021.
