Javier Canedo

Javier Canedo has a strong background in human resources and operations management. Javier is currently serving as the VP of Human Resources at EVO Payments, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Condé Nast México & Latinoamérica, where they held the roles of Head of HR and Head of Operations. At Condé Nast, they implemented several initiatives to align the company's structure with its digital and video strategy, launched employee assistance programs and learning management systems, and implemented strategies to mitigate the impact of the COVID pandemic. Before joining Condé Nast, Javier served as the Head of Operations at Notmusa, where they established cost reduction strategies and implemented standard procurement processes. Javier also worked as the Head of HR at Bright Inc, where they implemented HR processes and procedures and played a key role in doubling the company's headcount. Prior to that, they held various HR roles at MetLife and HSBC, where they managed employee benefits, implemented HR process and system projects, and oversaw payroll and contact center operations. Overall, Javier Canedo brings extensive experience in human resources, operations management, and strategic planning to their current role as VP of Human Resources at EVO Payments, Inc.

Javier Canedo holds a Diploma of Education in Digital Business Executive Program (DIBEX) from ISDI, obtained in 2021. Javier also earned a Management Diploma from IPADE Business School in 2013. Javier Canedo's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, completed between 2002 and 2007. Additionally, they participated in an International Exchange Program in Industrial Engineering at HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences in 2005-2006. Javier Canedo has also obtained the xISDI DIBEX certification from ISDI.
