Melinda Wang

Melinda Wang has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 as the Founder and Principal of MW Projects, a cultural production and art advisory firm. Melinda also founded Ninth Street Collective in 2019. In 2014, they established the Law Offices of Melinda Wang, where they served as Corporate & securities counsel and outside general counsel to various businesses. Melinda was also the Chief Operating Officer of a mediatech startup in 2018.

In terms of their professional roles, Melinda served as the Executive Director of New York Artists Equity Association and was the Founder and Director of Equity Gallery from 2015 to 2017. Melinda was also a strategic advisor and angel investor for various companies starting in 2012. Melinda joined Jasso Lopez PLLC as Of Counsel from August 2021 to February 2023.

Further, Melinda worked as a Lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian New York College, teaching a course on "Navigating Global Change: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach." Melinda became an Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at EVO Transportation in March 2023. Additionally, Melinda has a role as a Venture Partner at Republic since July 2022.

Throughout their career, Melinda has gained extensive experience in various industries, including fintech, blockchain-based technology, e-commerce, renewable energy, real estate, proptech, alternative investments, consumer goods, and entertainment. Melinda has provided counsel to individuals seeking concierge legal services and managed their legal affairs.

Melinda Wang pursued their undergraduate studies from 1995 to 1999 at Princeton University, where they received an A.B., summa cum laude degree. During their time at Princeton, Melinda specialized in Politics and also earned certificates in Political Theory, Economics, and Environmental Science. Subsequently, they attended the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained their J.D. degree in Law.
