Devin Stonecypher, CISSP

Devin Stonecypher, CISSP has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology. Starting in 2009 at Louisiana Tech University, they worked as a Linux Sysadmin and later became a Research Assistant. In 2012, they joined CenturyLink as a Development Intern and then progressed to the role of Software Developer II.

After leaving CenturyLink, Devin joined Craftsy in 2014 as a DevOps Engineer. Devin then moved on to Kinney Group, Inc. in 2015 where they worked as a Splunk Development Engineer and later became the Manager of IT Operations Analytics.

In 2018, Devin joined Evolutio as a Principal Engineer, handling various security responsibilities. Within Evolutio, they have held the positions of Director of Security and currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer.

With a strong background in security and technology, Devin's experience spans across different roles and organizations, showcasing their expertise and adaptability in the field.

Devin Stonecypher, CISSP, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Louisiana Tech University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing their studies from 2006 to 2011.

In addition to their educational background, Devin Stonecypher has acquired several certifications from Splunk. Devin became a Splunk Certified Consultant II in November 2015, a Splunk Certified Architect V.6 in October 2015, and a Splunk Certified Consultant I in October 2015. Furthermore, they obtained the Splunk Certified Knowledge Admin V.6 and Splunk Certified Knowledge Manager V.6 certifications in September 2015.
