Jim Whalen

Jim Whalen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jim currently works as a Principal Investigator at Evolution Research Group since 2021. Before that, they were a Psychiatric Physician at James J. Whalen, M.D., Inc. from 2003 to 2021. Jim also served as a Psychiatrist at Gateway Mental Health Center from 2018 to 2021. Jim has also worked as a Principal Investigator and Owner at Lincoln Research from 2009 to 2019 and as a Principal Investigator at BTC of Lincoln Research from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, they held the role of Clinical Assistant Professor and Supervisor of Psychiatry Residents at Brown University Affiliated Hospitals from 1994 to 2010. Furthermore, Jim worked as a Forensic Psychiatry Consultant at the Office of the Medical Examiner from 1994 to 2005, as a Psychiatric Physician at West Bay Psychiatric Assoc., Ltd from 2000 to 2003, as a Sub-Investigator at ISCL-Clinical Studies from 1999 to 2001, and as the Director of Psychiatry Services at the Federal Detention Center from 1997 to 2001.

Jim Whalen completed their Bachelor's Degree at Brown University in 1979. Jim then attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1984. Jim went on to earn a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Brown Medical School in 1989. Finally, they completed their education at Harvard Medical School in 1994.
