Kun Zhang

Kun Zhang is a prominent researcher currently serving as a Principal Investigator at Altos Labs since July 2022. Concurrently, Kun Zhang holds a long-standing position as a Professor at UC San Diego, where responsibilities have included Department Chair and various faculty roles since July 2007. Additionally, Kun Zhang is a Co-founder and Scientific Advisor at Singlera Genomics, contributing expertise since August 2014. Earlier academic training was completed at Harvard Medical School as a Post-doc from August 2003 to June 2007, following the attainment of a PhD from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 1999 to 2003, and a dual BS and MS in Biophysics from Fudan University, obtained between 1991 and 1999.
