James Slater

James Slater has extensive work experience in the logistics industry. James is currently the Operations Director at Evolution Time Critical since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at DHL for many years, holding various positions. From 2015 to 2020, they served as the Vice President, Global Head of Airfreight Operations & Compliance, where they were responsible for improving global operations and achieving productivity and profitability goals. Before that, they held roles such as Head of Customer Implementation for Europe, Middle East & Africa, Head of Customer Implementation for Europe / CEE, Regional Business Project Manager, Network Global Aviation Field Support - Deployments, Network Control Group Manager, NCG Senior Agent, and NCG Agent at DHL. Through these roles, James gained expertise in managing budgets, setting goals, implementing operational strategies, ensuring compliance, and optimizing processes.

James Slater attended the University of Derby from 1992 to 1994, where they studied International Business. James has also obtained several additional certifications, including Certification in Transportation and Logistics (CLT) from DHL, Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (CDGP) from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from DHL Global Forwarding, Master Project Manager (MPM) from Management Centre Europe (MCE), and PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner from Katholieke Universiteit te Leuven.
