Randal Thompson

Randal Thompson has a broad range of work experience in executive sales and management roles. Randal currently serves as the Chief Revenue Officer at Evolve IP since October 2020. Prior to that, they were a Board of Governors member at the University of New Haven starting from September 2019. Additionally, they held the positions of Executive In Residence at Great Hill Partners from March 2020 to October 2020, and Chief Sales Officer at Symmetry™ from October 2015 to December 2019.

Before these roles, Randal Thompson served as the Chief Sales Officer at Latisys from November 2011 to February 2015. Randal was responsible for leading a national sales organization and driving revenue through direct and channel sales. From November 2007 to October 2011, they worked at Internap Network Services as the Senior Vice President - Global Sales. Randal was accountable for sales and sales operations, managing a team of 125 supporting annual revenue of $250 million. Randal also served as the Regional VP of Sales for U.S. East and Europe, and the Director of Sales for the Southeast region at Internap Network Services.

Prior to that, Randal Thompson worked at MCI Corporation from January 2000 to January 2003. Randal held the positions of Director of Sales - Major and National Accounts, where they led an 85-person sales organization, and Branch Manager - Major Accounts, where they achieved top performance and was promoted to Director of Sales within 15 months.

Throughout their career, Randal Thompson has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and sales expertise in various industries, including telecommunications, IT outsourcing, and cloud hosting solutions.

Randal Thompson attended the University of New Haven from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
