Leo Abner

Leo Abner has a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on creating automation frameworks and test processes. Leo has held various roles as a Principal Software Development Engineer in Test, Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, and Software Development Engineer.

At their current position in Evolve, Leo is responsible for overseeing the software development testing process. Prior to that, they worked at Henry Schein One, where they also held a Principal Software Development Engineer in Test role.

Leo gained significant experience at Progressive Leasing, where they defined and executed the test automation process and created new UI and back-end testing frameworks. Similarly, at Ancestry, they designed and implemented a new Maven project for back-end API tests and optimized existing tests for easier maintainability.

Before that, Leo worked at Instructure, where they developed end-to-end and component test automation using various technologies, and also contributed to feature development using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and CSS. Leo also has prior experience at Family Search, building RESTful APIs, and at CHARM, where they conducted testing and contributed to code optimization.

Leo Abner received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University - Idaho in 2009. Leo then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Utah State University from 2010 to 2011.
