Morgan Cousins, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific field. Morgan started their career as an intern at IDEXX Laboratories, where they assisted in laboratory work and conducted a summer project to improve sample preparation techniques. Morgan then worked as a Math Clinic Tutor and T.A. at the University of Maine at Farmington, where they led problem-solving sessions and developed teaching techniques.
Morgan pursued higher education at the University of Vermont, where they served as a Graduate Student and conducted research on fluorophores and metalloproteins. Morgan also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, instructing laboratory sections and leading recitation sessions.
After completing their education, Morgan worked as a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at Ursinus College, where they developed curriculum for chemistry courses and mentored junior scientists.
Morgan then transitioned to industry roles, starting as a Scientist I at Pace Analytical Life Sciences and later becoming a Scientist II/Group Leader. At Affinivax Inc., they held the position of Scientist II.
More recently, Morgan joined GSK as an Expert Scientist and is currently working at Evolved By Nature as a Senior Scientist. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in scientific research, curriculum development, teaching, and mentoring.
Dr. Morgan Cousins received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Vermont in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2012.
