Claire Bevis-Mott

Claire Bevis-Mott has extensive work experience in the scientific research field. Claire currently holds the position of Science Director at Evonetix Ltd since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Illumina, starting in August 2005. At Illumina, Claire held various roles including Sr Manager, Scientific Research, Senior Staff Scientist, Staff Development Scientist, Senior Development Scientist, Development Scientist, Associate Development Scientist, and Development Research Associate. Claire was with Illumina for a total of 17 years, from July 2005 to April 2023. Before joining Illumina, Claire worked as a Research Technician at the MRC Centre for Developmental Neurobiology from June 2004 to July 2005, and as a Research Assistant at HGMP-RC from August 2002 to July 2003.

Claire Bevis-Mott attended Dame Alice Harpur School from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained 9 GCSEs with grades ranging from A to A*. Subsequently, they attended Sharnbrook Upper School & Community College from 1998 to 2000 and completed 4 A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. From 2000 to 2004, Claire pursued their higher education at the University of Kent, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with a year in industry.
