Guy Kiddle has a diverse work experience in the field of Molecular Biotechnology. Guy started his career at Rothamsted Research as a Senior Research Assistant, where he focused on identifying key mechanisms in plants related to cell survival during adverse environmental conditions & defence. Guy's research involved studying gene expression & metabolite changes affected by redox poise and oxidative stress.

In 2007, Guy joined Lumora (ERBA Molecular) as a Principal Research and Development Manager. Guy's expertise in Molecular Biotechnology played a vital role in the successful development and commercialization of various molecular tests, including 3M's Molecular Detection System for food-borne pathogens and Biogal Labs PCRun point-of-care test for infectious diseases, as well as a multiplex PCR for SARS-COV-2 diagnosis.

Since 2021, Guy has been working at Evonetix Ltd, as the Head of Biology, where he developed, grew and managed a team of molecular biologists that are currently contributing the company's V&V operations; utilising innovative & bespoke forensic molecular detection methods to qualify the on-chip synthesis.

Guy completed his BSc in Applied Biology / Environmental Sciences at UCL from 1991 to 1995 & then pursued further education and obtained a PhD in Plant Biotechnology from Bristol University, where he studied from 2001 to 2004.
