YU-HSIEN HUNG

Yu-Hsien Hung has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Senior Scientist at Evonetix Ltd, where they have been working since 2022. Previously, they worked as a Scientist at the same company, starting in March 2022 and continuing until January 2023. Before joining Evonetix Ltd, Yu-Hsien worked as a Bio/Nanosensor Engineer at Mursla from October 2018 to March 2022. In this role, they led a research project on dielectrophoresis and developed a particle-based bioassay for exosome detection.

Prior to their industry experience, Yu-Hsien had roles at National Yang Ming University, where they were a Valedictorian and a Member of Students' Union. As the Valedictorian, they achieved excellent academic performance, and as a Member of Students' Union, they mediated and resolved issues, coordinated events, and supervised the president of the students' association.

Additionally, Yu-Hsien worked as a Research Intern at the 中正研究院 (Central Research Institute) in 2016, where they synthesized graphene oxide and gold nanoparticles, analyzed fluorescence in up-conversion nanoparticles, and presented their findings at conferences.

Lastly, they had an early work experience as the Financial Chief at Tainan First Girl High School, where they managed finances, organized and coordinated the financial team, and raised funds and sponsorship for the association.

YU-HSIEN HUNG completed a Master of Research in Bioengineering at Imperial College London from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from National Yang Ming University, which they attended from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, YU-HSIEN HUNG has acquired certifications in Data Analysis with Python, Responsive Web Design, and Scientific Computing with Python from freeCodeCamp in August 2021.
