Jorge Oliver

Jorge Oliver, PE, MBA, currently serves as Technical Manager at Evonik, bringing extensive experience from previous roles in engineering and utility management. At Lonza, contributions included developing a new 24/7 Utilities Operation and overseeing capital projects for pharmaceutical grade utilities. During tenure at BASF, Jorge led the commissioning of a new Process Water Ultra-Filtration system and acted as Operations Lead for a Wastewater plant expansion. Earlier positions at The Mosaic Company involved managing a marine terminal and preparing compliance reports, while earlier experience at Alabama Power and Caribbean Project Management encompassed managing capital projects and start-up processes for water treatment facilities. Education credentials include a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida, an MBA in Industrial Management from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
